Carmen Bolt Position at Swem Library – William and Mary

Carmen Bolt has accepted a position as Oral Historian with Swem Library at William and Mary.

As Oral Historian, she will be responsible for leading and collaborating on two major oral history endeavors: one, looking at 100 years of coeducation on William & Mary’s campus, and the second, addressing 50 years of black students in residence at the College. Carmen will conduct oral histories with W&M alum to gain insight into the lived experience(s) of these individuals, and the histories collected will be transcribed, prepared, archived, and made available to the public.

Apart from these major projects, she will be organizing previously-recorded histories and sending them off for transcription.
